My name is Sasha. I’m an emotive storyteller. I was born in Queen Charlotte’s Hospital in Hammersmith. Where previously lied a massive hospital now stands a block of flats. That’s London for you.

I was born to an Iranian mother and an Indian father. I’m a lover of music, films and books. A child of the 80s. I like coffee, wine, running, football, late night swimming, pasta and sarcasm.

Filmmaking is the only thing I’ve ever wanted to do.

I thought about listing the schools I’ve attended but I’ve concluded that none of that matters at all.

My favourite films in no particular order are:

Adaptation, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, A Prophet, The Godfather, The Godfather Pt ii, Goodfellas, The Shawshank Redemption, Heat, Mommy, Amelie, This Is England, Moonlight, Withnail & I, Man On Wire, Fight Club, American Beauty, Good Will Hunting, Pulp Fiction, Gattaca, There Will Be Blood, Kids, Days Of Heaven, Shame, Do The Right Thing, Kramer Vs Kramer, Senna, Annie Hall, Lost In Translation and The Graduate.

Oh, you like some of these films too? Well then, we have something in common. Let’s work together and make something beautiful. Something moving.
